Sex: Female Breed: Shar-pei/American Pitbull Terrier Age: 1-2 years Good with Dogs? Yes Good with Cats? Yes, interested, but wont harm them. Good with Children? Yes, over 10 Koa was picked up as a stray and taken to the local animal shelter. When I first saw her, she was red, swollen and itchy. Not to mention, hairless. Once her stray hold was up, we took her to the vet where she was diagnosed with demodex mange, a yeast infection and a bacterial infection. We immediately started her on ivermectin and antibiotics and we also added quite a few supplements to her daily routine to help her start to feel better. Its been 2 weeks, and her hair has started to grow back and she is feeling much better. Koa is VERY sweet and loves to cuddle and thrives on human attention. She does get protective over her family, and bonds very quickly. She barks at strangers, but there isnt a mean bone in her body. We will still take care of the bills related to Koa's demodex until it is cleared. Adoption fee: $150 includes spay, DAPP vaccination, rabies vaccination, microchip, deworm, vet check and treatment.
